Introduction:
The UHA 9125D is a 3 GHz-UHF-half-wave dipole antenna manufactured by Schwarzbeck, Germany, and is authorized to be represented by EUTTEST Shenzhen for sales and quotation services. The low loss half-wave dipole UHA 9125D is available in the frequency range of 1 GHz to 4 GHz. Depending on the desired center frequency, the dipole elements can be replaced with corresponding lengths and can be combined with AM 9144 The antenna mount secures the antenna for testing. The removable antenna pole bar should be set to quarter wavelength to provide good symmetry.
Half-wave dipoles are commonly used to generate a defined amount of radiated power. Injecting RF power into the dipole results in the same field strength reading as previously generated by the EUT (using the dipole instead of the EUT). (Replace the EUT with a dipole.) Determine the desired RF power at the dipole N connector, i.e., the ERP value (Effective Radiated Power). To obtain the EIRP value (isotropic effective radiated power), the RF power must be increased by 2.15 dB because the ideal half-wave dipole has an isotropic gain of 2.15 dBi.
