Pulsed magnetic field immunity

Introduction:

Pulsed magnetic field immunity test is a kind of test project built by IEC61000-4-9, GB/T 17626.9 defined pulsed magnetic field test requirements, electronic products may be affected by the pulsed magnetic field generated by other equipment, the standard requires the use of the test magnetic field waveform for the standard current pulse waveform of 6.4/16μs.

Note: The 6.4/16μs waveform in IEC60469.1 corresponds to the 8/20μs waveform in GB/T 17627.2.

Pulsed magnetic field source:

The standard defines that impulse magnetic fields are generated by lightning strikes on buildings and other metal structures (including antenna poles, grounding bodies, and grounding grids), as well as by initial fault transients in low-, medium-, and high-voltage power systems.

In high-voltage substations, pulsed magnetic fields can also be generated by circuit breakers to suit high-voltage busbars and high-voltage lines.
