Katonics Analyzer

The Katonics Analyzer is used for certification testing of the Katonics of samples under test according to the standard CISPR 14-1.

The source of the clicking sound:

All automated programmable control devices, electronic switches, temperature-controlled heating devices, and commonly used household appliances as well as industrial lighting equipment generate discontinuous interference along the power cables. The effect of this interference varies with repetition frequency and amplitude: the higher the amplitude of the interference, the lower the frequency at which it occurs.
The CISPR 14-1 regulation establishes limits for harmful electromagnetic emissions from household appliances and power tools, including "intermittent disturbances" on power cables, commonly known as "clicks". This is defined as interference that exceeds the limit for continuous emissions and lasts less than 200ms, with an interval of more than 200ms between two interruptions.
