Introduction:
The SW 9606 is a current sensor with a transmission impedance of 8 Ω from Schwarzbeck, Germany, represented by EUTTEST Shenzhen for sales and after-sales service. The probe measures RF interfering currents in the range of 9 kHz-200 MHz and is designed to inject RF currents into conductors or bundles of conductors up to a maximum diameter of 23 mm. It complies with CISPR 16-1-2 or DIN EN 55016-1-2, respectively. The conversion ratio is 1 : 0.125 (I = 0,125 U), i.e. a transmission impedance of 8 ohms. The insertion loss in a 50 Ohm system is 16 dB. In the case of current injection, a voltage of 8 µV at the ends of the BNC connector of the SW 9606 will result in a current injection of 1 µA into the conductor bundle, i.e. 18 dBµV on the BNC connector will result in a current injection of 1 dBµA into the conductor. This current clamp can also be used below the nominal frequency range. In this case, the frequency-dependent transducers provided in the figure must be considered. The low insertion loss allows very low limits to be measured with sufficient sensitivity.
