Introduction:
SBA 9119 is a handheld transmitter immunity antenna balun produced by Schwarzbeck, Germany, authorized by Shenzhen EUTTEST agent sales quotes and after-sales service.SBA 9119 balun is a part of the biconical antenna, you need to additionally configure different biconical components to form a new biconical antenna in order to test the use of.

Test application instructions:
The SBA 9119 has the following three primary test applications:
Test application 1: Passive electric field probes:
For frequency-selective measurements of generated fields according to EN 61000-4-3, including measurements in homogeneous regions. A further application is the validation of measurements above 1 GHz in fully anechoic chambers according to the site VSWR method described in CISPR 16-1-4. In combination with the SBA 9112, the frequency range from 1 to 18 GHz can be covered with excellent antenna performance. Accepting some limitations (i.e., increased antenna coefficients and VSWR, reduced symmetry), the SBA 9119 can be used starting at 0.5 GHz. Validating the test site with other microwave antennas (e.g., logarithmic antennas or horn antennas) will result in inadequate results because these directional gain antennas with focused directional maps do not take into account the characteristics of the test site.
Test Application 2: Generate a customized electric field (e.g. ERP or EIRP):
The wide bandwidth of the SBA 9119 eliminates the need for time-consuming replacement of antenna elements as needed when operating with a tuned half-wave dipole. The biconical elements allow continuous scanning over the entire frequency range. With its dipole-like directional pattern, fixed phase center, and high power handling capability, the SBA 9119 can replace a tuned half-wave dipole in many applications. The SBA 9119 is not suitable for RF sensitivity testing of very low limit, horn, and log-periodic antennas. Antennas are better suited for this purpose due to their better antenna coefficients, and there is also a typical application as a (highly linear) broadband near-field probe due to its small size.
Test application 3: as a handheld transmitter antenna
SBA 9119 can be paired with 422NJ The biconical elements form a handheld transmitting antenna for theTesting proximity radiation immunity of automotive electronic componentsThe application meets test standards such as EMC-CS-2009 or ISO 11452-9.
