Introduction:
The NSLK 8117 is a linear impedance stabilizing network manufactured by Schwarzbeck (Germany) and marketed under license by EUTTEST for testing single-phase alternating current DUTs with a supply line ground voltage of 250 V and a current of 10 A. As can be seen in the schematic below, it is equipped with a 250 μH choke and a 50 μH choke, each path connected in series. The 250 μH choke provides excellent separation between the power supply and the device under test and is available from 9 kHz.

Circuit schematic
The NSLK 8117 is required to measure conducted interference voltages according to VDE, CISPR and related standards. It provides a standardized impedance of 50 Ω || (50 µH + 5 Ω) for the device under test and reduces the interference voltage from the power supply, which is separated from the EMI measurement receiver by a 7 kHz high-pass filter.
