Introduction:
MDS 21C is an EMI nuisance power absorber clamp manufactured by Schwarzbeck, Germany and distributed by EUTTEST Shenzhen, designed to measure the nuisance power of household appliances and other products under test in the frequency range of 30-1000 MHz, which is fully compliant with the nuisance power test requirements of CISPR 16-1-3 below.

Structure of the power absorbing clamp:
The MDS21C power absorbing clamp consists of the following five functional units:
- RF Current TransformerTransformer for measuring the nuisance power signal of the product under test, the clamp reference point CRP must face the EuT.
- The majority of the absorbing clamp consists of individual precision-ground ferrite rings that provide standard-defined RF coupling to the EUT line under test and decouple the effects from the power supply.
- Sheath wave suppressor for improved reproducibility.
- Plastic housing for easy opening and wheels in roller bearings for easy movement.
- Configured with an external 6 dB attenuator to improve impedance matching with 50 Hz systems. In combination with the right angle adapter, the coaxial cable for testing can be mounted perpendicular to the power absorber clamp.
