Introduction:
The LF-R 400 Magnetic Field Probe is a near-field probe manufactured by Langer EMV, Germany, with high sensitivity due to its large diameter (25mm), suitable for measurements of integrated circuit boards and devices up to 10cm. It is a passive near-field probe. With its large tip diameter (25 mm), it is more sensitive than the LF-R 50 (10 mm) or LF-R 3 (3 mm) near-field probes, thus enabling the detection of magnetic fields over larger areas, both of which have a higher resolution than the LF-R 400. This probe is compact and convenient. It has a current attenuation sheath and is therefore electrically shielded. It can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. The magnetic field probe does not have a 50 Ω internal termination resistor.
