Introduction:
ISN S8 is a shielded twisted-pair impedance stabilization network produced by Schwarzbeck, Germany and authorized for sale by EUTTEST in Shenzhen, China. It can be used in EMC labs to test the conductive emission of shielded CAT6 twisted-pair cables with up to 4 pairs of wires.
The ISN S8 can be used to perform voltage conducted emission tests on communication equipment or data processing equipment in accordance with relevant national standards such as CISPR 22 and GB9254.The equipment schematic diagram of the ISN S8 is shown in the figure below:

As can be seen from the diagram above, the ISN must provide sufficient separation from the device under test, the EUT, and the auxiliary equipment, the AE, which is the device or load with which the EUT communicates with the other devices. The conducted voltage interference signal from the circuit under test will be coupled to the BNC connector output on the top of the ISN S8, which will then be connected to an external EMI test receiver or spectrum analyzer to display the test data.
