Introduction:

The HFS 1546 is a 50 mm shielded active magnetic field probe manufactured by Schwarzbeck (Germany) and distributed by EUTTEST, in fact it is a type of ring antenna that covers the frequency range 9 kHz - 30 MHz (80MHz). The probe is equipped with a smaller ring antenna diameter and a new amplifier with 10 times the transistor speed, which extends the upper frequency limit of the probe to 400 MHz, thus allowing frequency-selective measurements of the very low limit line requirements of medical implants.

Applications:

Typical applications for this probe are frequency selective H-field measurements inside and outside buildings and rooms using a test receiver or spectrum analyzer. The wide frequency and dynamic range of this probe covers the limit requirements for human protection starting from about 4.5 MHz, as well as the very low limits for medical implants (pacemakers). Field sources are AM and FM radio and TVstations.
