Introduction:
The HFRA 5149 is a magnetic field transmitter loop antenna manufactured by Schwarzbeck (Germany) and distributed by EUTTEST. The antenna is capable of inputting 100 W of power for a short period of time, and can be operated continuously at 30 W for extended periods of time. The antenna needs to be terminated with a power consuming 50 Ω/20 W load, noting that the load is part of the antenna and cannot be removed during testing. It is sufficient for the maximum output of a laboratory power generator.

Recommended Test Configuration:
As shown in the figure below, this antenna can be tested in conjunction with the receiver antenna HFS 1546, where the 5149 will be used for power input and radiate a magnetic field to the front of the antenna, and the HFS 1546 will be placed in a different test position to receive the field.
