Introduction:
The F-14A is a monitoring current probe manufactured by FCC (Fischer Custom Communications, Inc.) in the U.S.A. and authorized to be distributed by EUTTEST in Shenzhen, China.FCC's F-14 Current Probe measures current on 50Hz, 60Hz, and 400Hz power lines, and it is available in the frequency range of 10Hz to 500kHz. The F-14A can operate up to 400 amps @ DC-400 Hz without changing its transmission impedance. The RF current tested by the F-14A will be fed back to the receiver or spectrometer display via the RF cable.
The main technical parameters of the F-14A:
Available frequency range: 10 Hz-500kHz;
Inner ring diameter: 32 mm; outer ring diameter: 94 mm;;
Height: 64mm;
Typical value ZtΩ(1): 0.12;
Typical dBΩ: -18 ;
Connector: Type-N, N female, 50 ohms;
Rated power current value: 400 A (DC - 400 Hz);
RF (CW continuous wave): 50A;
Peak pulse current (2): 500A;
1: Calibrate the probe with a 50Ω+j0Ω load impedance.
2: Depends on pulse width and pulse repetition rate.
