Introduction:
F-140714-1004-1 is a coupling decoupling network (CDN) for IEC-61000-4-6 conducted immunity testing, capable of transmitting high-quality signals over TIA 568 Class 6 permanent links. As the speed of digital communications increases, the tolerance for electromechanical defects in the transmission path decreases. These defects include the typical cable-to-connector and connector-to-connector interfaces often encountered in telecom cabling, as well as the challenge of connecting CDNs to telecom cabling with minimal impact on telecom signal integrity.
Validate products for high-speed communications applications with the Fluke DTX-1800 Digital Cable Tester Fluke digital cable testers measure transmission quality parameters over CDN, including NEXT, insertion loss, return loss, and a number of other parameters, comparing the performance of CDN to the appropriate telecom cable category. All Fluke measurements for high transmission quality CDN have a positive margin based on TIA 568 Category 6 10GB copper transmission parameters.
