The DPA 503N & AIF 503N are fully compatible three-phase harmonics and flicker analyzers manufactured by EMTEST in Switzerland. The DPA 503N is a fully compliant analyzer that is fully compatible with the latest IEC/EN 61000-3-2 and -12, IEC/EN 61000-3-3 and -11, and JIS 61000-3-2 and -12. It follows the design specifications of IEC/EN 61000-4-7 (for Class I instruments) and IEC/EN 61000-4-15. It forms a complete harmonic and flicker measurement system together with the three-phase flicker impedance AIF 503N (options 16, 32, 63 or 75 A), which includes the reference impedance Zref (IEC 61000-3-3) and the test impedance Ztest (IEC 61000-3-11). By adding the VLCM option, the measurement range can be extended to the mA range (single phase) to measure low power EUTs such as LEDs.

AIF 503N16.3 and 16.5 - Independent three-phase flicker impedance 16 A

The AIF 503N16.3 and AIF 503N16.5 are self-contained three-phase flicker impedances up to 16 A per line, including a reference impedance, Zref, according to IEC 60725. In combination with the DPA 503N three-phase harmonics and flicker analyzer and power supply (ACS 503N or NetWave), they perform flicker tests according to IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-3-11 (16 A maximum) and similar standards. IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-3-11 (up to 16 A) and similar standards. Its compact design makes it the ideal impedance for small harmonic and flicker setups.

Three parallel outputs allow easy connection of the EUT: CEE-16 connector, three standard power sockets (country-specific) and laboratory connector (4 mm). Harmonic emission measurements can bypass the internal impedance. The AIF 503N16.3 bypass switch is controlled by the DPA 503N. The AIF 503N16.5 bypass switch is manually controlled by a rotary switch on the front.
