Introduction:
BNB 8656 is a 1600A battery impedance network simulator manufactured by Schwarzbeck, Germany and authorized by EUTTEST Shenzhen for sales and quotation service. This battery simulator is designed to meet the requirements of the automotive electronics test standard MBN 11123:2021-08, with three different built-in resistor + inductor impedance configurations for testers to choose from. The simulator has two power supply paths on the front and rear panels: HV+ and HV-, each with variable power resistors.

Operating Temperature Limit
During operation, it is absolutely necessary to monitor the temperature of the heat sinks and inductors built into this battery impedance network. In order to monitor the temperature of the heat sinks on the "HV+" and "HV-" paths, we installed five K-type temperature sensors on each path. Each signal must be evaluated. The highest temperature value in the third column of the graph below represents the operating limit temperature of the internal components.
